Essential Job Duties:
- Investigate denied third party claims and take action to overturn denials for payment.
- Communicate global payor issues with the Payor Relations team.
- Ensure all denials are fully worked and new denials are communicated to supervisor.
- Maintain knowledge of appropriate coding and state mandates related to medical foods and other lines of business.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
- 3-5 years Healthcare experience in a DME or other therapy related to revenue cycle processes 3-5 years Healthcare experience in a DME or other therapy related to revenue cycle processes.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manipulate reports to maximize efficiencies.
- Strong organization skills and strong under pressure.
