The Denial Management Specialist will be responsible for resolving, preventing and fixing specific denial types for multiple payers in new lines of business.

Essential Job Duties:

Investigate denied third party claims and take action to overturn denials for payment.
Communicate global payor issues with the Payor Relations team.
Ensure all denials are fully worked and new denials are communicated to supervisor.
Maintain knowledge of appropriate coding and state mandates related to medical foods and other lines of business.
Other job duties and special projects as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

3-5 years Healthcare experience in a DME or other therapy related to revenue cycle processes 3-5 years Healthcare experience in a DME or other therapy related to revenue cycle processes.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manipulate reports to maximize efficiencies.
Strong organization skills and strong under pressure.

Salary Range: $50,000 annual
