Hourly Rate: $55+ W2 (negotiable)
Location: Remote
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Reconcile large, unreconciled balances in deferred revenue and unbilled receivables accounts
- Track and document offsetting entries at the project level
- Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of ending balances provided by the other operating company (OpCo) prior to system integration
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, potentially writing off unresolvable balances
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of reconciliation processes and findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards
- In-depth understand of, and experience with, Percentage of Completion (POC) Accounting (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools
- Experience with NetSuite ERP, Financial Force, and Salesforce a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliation and deferred revenue/revenue recognition
