- Within a division, this position is responsible for reporting financial performance including revenue, labor, and expenses. Â Oversees billing, accounts payable, and account receivable. Â Assists with creating revenue, labor, and expense monthly and annual forecasts.
- Accesses computer-based systems to review, extract, and interpret financial and operational data
- Creates, updates, and maintains Excel spreadsheets to collect, interpret, and trend data to assist with management decision making
- Prepares weekly financial projections with company templates; includes revenue, labor, and expense tracking
- Liaison with Operational Leaders to identify and quantify monthly projections
- Prepares month end close reports with company templates
- Liaison with Corporate Accounting to identify and classify accounting entries
- Participate and lead month-end Division P&L review calls
- Analyzes results; monitors variances; identifies trends; proactively recommends actions to management.
- Liaison with Senior Management to identify and quantify quarterly and yearly forecasts; includes revenue, labor, and expense tracking.
- Responsible for Division client billing Excel spreadsheet templates; including data collection from Operational Leaders, weekly updating of templates, error finding, error reporting, error correction, and month-end final reporting.
- Serves as the point-of-contact for Accounts Payable including processing vendor invoices by utilizing AP software, responding to vendor inquiry, and tracking costs.
- Serves as the point-of-contact for Accounts Receivable including utilizing AR software, generating inquiry emails to clients, and tracking outstanding debits.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills and a forward-looking mentality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Able to acknowledge and prioritize high-volume communications in a fast-paced work environment. Â
- Eager to learn new systems and identify and implement improvements to existing financial systems, reports, and processes.
- Super-user Excel and PowerPoint skills to build models and presentations in support of analysis and reporting.
- Three to five years of financial analysis and accounting experience, preferably in a service based publicly traded company.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Aviation experience preferred.
- Must submit to and pass a drug screen.
- Must meet all the requirements to receive required airport security badge and US Customs and Border Patrol clearance, including a successful completion of a background check and 10-year work history.
