- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, including ISO standards, FDA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance systems, incorporating quality control plans, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
- Supervise and monitor production workflows to guarantee compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
- Organize and oversee product testing processes to confirm product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Perform internal and external audits to evaluate quality performance and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and enforce procedures for managing non-conforming products, including conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and applying preventive measures.
- Analyze quality data to detect patterns, identify the underlying causes of quality issues, and apply corrective actions accordingly.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing product quality, minimizing defects, and optimizing plant operations.
- Manage and mentor a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, offering guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.

- Strong Management experience or someone that can demonstrate the ability to take that step into leadership
- Ability to adapt and drive change as it relates to continuous improvement and within a QMS
- Strong knowledge and experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.)
- Experience with product testing, non confirming product management, data analysis, and supplier quality
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), and quality assurance systems.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (for example: ERP systems, quality management software). Experience with ETQ is nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred
