Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Lead Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Materials Engineering department supporting analytical lab activities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Lead Engineering Technician
Location: Clearwater, FL
Pay Range: $33-34/hr
What's the Job?
- Operate a wide variety of analytical equipment to support receiving inspection testing of production materials.
- Conduct engineering evaluations and failure analysis in the Polymers and Chemistry Labs.
- Interface with other Technicians and Engineers, as well as personnel from other organizations.
- Provide training and guidance to other Technicians in day-to-day operations.
- Take on limited engineering roles as needed to support the business.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on lab experience in Polymer testing or Analytical chemistry.
- Considerable expertise with analytical instruments and techniques.
- Ability to schedule activities with minimal oversight.
- US Citizenship is required.
