It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles, glass IV, and various reconstitution devices. This facility produces a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling, injection molding, tubing extrusion, and device assembly. Monitor equipment and perform minor adjustments. Perform quality checks and document in-process quality inspections on assemblies from operation. Verify correctness of materials. Attend to supplying parts for production. Stack boxes on to pallets. Mix solvents and supply solvents to equipment. Participate in production batch changeover and line clearance. Complete documentation required for production release. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises. Maintain good housekeeping and 6S responsibilities as assigned. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management. What You'll Bring High school diploma required. Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus. Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations a plus. Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures. Able to complete documentation legibly. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. Low absenteeism. Must be able to work overtime as required to include plant shutdown, weekend, and holidays. Must be able to work with solvents. Ability to count and use maintenance tools and calculator. Exhibit minor mechanical troubleshooting ability. Ability to drive and operate forklift. Previous forklift certification a plus. Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037. Audiometric testing and hearing protection required. Ability to climb ladders. Ability to bend/stoop. Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk frequently. Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds repetitively. Ability to lift above shoulders up to 10 pounds repetitively.
