This is a part-time (0.4 Status), day shift ED Tech I (EMT-B) position in the Emergency Department.

This position is responsible for providing patient care within the Emergency Department, as outlined by the scope defined under direction and supervision of the Emergency Physician on duty. Works collaboratively with other disciplines. Provides care for all age populations along the health continuum. The ED Tech I EMT is unfailingly positive in job performance and promotes professional care and service by all actions and communication within the workplace.

Minimum Required:  High school diploma or equivalent. EMT license in the state of Montana and with national registry (NREMT). Must obtain BLS for Healthcare Provider, ACLS, and PALS within 3 months of hire. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.

Preferred / Desired: Prefer acute care experience, IV endorsement, 12 lead ECG, rhythm interpretation and blood glucose monitoring.

Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend.
