Come be a part of our mission. Northrop Grumman is seeking a Digital Engineer (Level 3 or Level 4) to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. What You'll Get to Do: Identify the right digital engineering processes and tools to use to solve our customers challenges Implement digital engineering processes, such as MBSE, Performance Modeling and Simulation, and integration of MBSE with Simulations Consult with teams and engineers, including direct participation in working sessions, to provide guidance, and help them work through challenges related to digital engineering Some engineers are new to Digital Engineering, and you’ll help them get up to speed and become effective practitioners Help our customers understand the value of digital engineering, how it works, and make it more accessible to them Ensure we’re employing Digital Engineering properly to meet customer requirements, e.g. major milestone meetings and CDRL deliveries Basic Qualifications Level 3/Principal: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of systems engineering experience; or 3 years’ experience with a Master’s degree; or 1 year with PhD Level 4/Senior Principal: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of systems engineering experience; or 6 years’ experience with a Master’s degree; or 4 years with PhD Active Secret clearance at time of application Familiarity with MBSE Modeling (Cameo Enterprise Architecture) Familiarity with DODAF architecture views and diagram creation Familiarity with MPLM tools (Teamcenter) Experience working with cross-functional integrated product teams Expertise with MS Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Preferred Qualifications Experience with ANSYS modeling and simulation of satellite objects Familiarity with scaled compute cluster development, hypervisors, and network engineering Familiarity with Radar systems and operations Familiarity in Agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
