About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Ohio. This 14-day assignment runs from June 25 to July 8, 2025, with flexible scheduling options. Responsibilities and Duties:Â
• Provide inpatient care for premature and ill infants in a Special Care NurseryÂ
• Manage patients as young as 32 weeks gestationÂ
• Collaborate with specially trained nursing staff and NPsÂ
• Conduct rounds and assess patient progressÂ
• Develop and adjust treatment plans as neededÂ
• Communicate effectively with families about patient care and progressÂ
• Coordinate with other specialists for comprehensive patient careÂ
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and managementÂ
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and proceduresÂ
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to neonatal careÂ
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled within chosen shifts

• Experience in pediatric hospitalist care, particularly in neonatal settings, requiredÂ
• Comfort with managing premature and ill infants essentialÂ
• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
