About The Position

Wellhart is seeking a Physician specializing in Emergency Medicine for a locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Ohio. This 25-day assignment begins on 06/02/2025, with varied shifts including 7am-7pm, 11am-11pm, and 7pm-7am. The emergency physician will be responsible for managing a high-volume emergency department. The facility works closely with transfer locations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Meditech EHR and possess a valid Ohio medical license. There is also a possibility of extending the assignment beyond the initial period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages 

• Manage high patient volumes efficiently 

• Perform rapid assessments and diagnoses 

• Initiate appropriate treatments and interventions 

• Coordinate patient transfers when necessary 

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams 

• Utilize Meditech EHR for patient records and management 

• Adapt to varied shift schedules as needed 

• Maintain clear communication with patients and families 

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures

Additional Information: 

• Valid Ohio medical license required 

• Experience with Meditech EHR preferred 

• Possibility of assignment extension
