About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 15-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Ohio. Starting 06/23/2025, this opportunity offers 12-hour shifts, either 8p-8a or 8a-8p, with a minimum requirement of 5 shifts per month. This role requires adaptability to varied schedules and proficiency with general ER cases and procedures. Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages and conditions 

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries 

• Perform medical procedures and interpret diagnostic tests 

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care and admissions 

• Manage patient flow and prioritize cases based on severity 

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Meditech EHR 

• Adhere to all hospital policies and emergency medicine best practices 

• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and assignment duration 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Additional Information: 

• Ohio state medical license required 

• Experience in emergency medicine with the ability to handle diverse cases 

• Comfort with varied shift schedules, including nights 

• Proficiency in Meditech EHR system
