Job Summary
Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to patients through development, implementation and monitoring of nutrition care plans. Provision of clinical nutrition care requires knowledge of the principles of growth and development throughout the life span and the abilities to analyze data, assess nutrition status and formulate nutrition care plans.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition required.
- Experience
- One year accredited internship or equivalent required, as approved by the American Dietetic Association.
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Registered dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or registry-eligible with registration attained within 1 year of hire.
- Current license as a Dietitian in Massachusetts required within 1 year of hire.
