Sonic Summary

The Patient Navigator is responsible for processing Emergency Department provider billing and ensuring prompt patient follow-up.
This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma and previous secretarial experience with demonstrated computer skills.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and data entry skills, along with good telephone etiquette.
Medical terminology knowledge is preferred, but no specific licensure or certification is required.
The salary for this role is not specified, and candidates are expected to maintain confidentiality while communicating effectively in English.

Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services or their designee, the Patient Navigator is responsible for processing Emergency Department (ED) provider billing, prompt patient follow-up, and quality assurance activities. Interacts with providers, staff, patients and their family or significant others.

Minimum Qualifications

Education
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous secretarial experience with demonstrated computer and word processing skills required.
- Medical terminology preferred
