Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care through the verification, filling and dispensing of medication orders. Provides clinical services and medication information to medical staff and nurses ensuring appropriate medication use. Supervises and verifies the accuracy of all work performed by pharmacy technicians and students. Supports all clinical pharmacy services and initiatives including the pharmacy residency program. Works independently with limited supervision. Develops and promotes collaborative and collegial relationships with medical staff, nurses and other allied health clinical staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited college/university with a B.S. in Pharmacy or a Pharm.D. degree is required.

Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is highly preferred
- Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency desirable.
Licensure and/or Certification:
- Active licensed Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (or eligible for reciprocity) is required
- Board Certification is desirable
