Job Summary

  • Reporting to the Chief Therapist or designee, responsible for primarily adult caseload consisting of but not limited to pre-natal and post-partum diagnoses, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, colorectal conditions/chronic constipation, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and diastasis recti management. Care of all patients is served in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the department.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program required

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience treating patients with pelvic health conditions.
  • Minimum completion of Pelvic Floor Levels 1 and 2 training thru the APTA Women’s Health Section (or equivalent)

Licensure and/or Certification

  • BLS required within 4 months from hire.
  • Current license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts required.

  • Clinical expertise for the age and type of patients seen.

  • Must execute sound judgment all duties.
  • Courteous and professional manner when dealing with people in person and on the phone.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs.

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
