Job Description:
Prepares patients for procedures, assumes responsibility for patient needs during procedures. Performs procedures with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner, adhering to the protocols outlined in the department's procedure manual upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist.Education:
AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology - Required
Certificate Venipuncture - Required if performing CT or within 6 months of assuming position
Experience:
Additional Experience Requirements:
Maintains and acquires CE units as required by the State/National agencies
CT or ARRT-CT Required if performing for any new hire after July 31, 2019. New graduates and internal transfers will have 14 months to obtain. All other new hires into a CT Technologist role will have 6 months to obtain.
Certifications/Licensures:
Radiologic Technologist - Certified (CRT) Current California - Required
CRT Fluoroscopy - California Department of Public Health - Radiologic Health Branch – Required. For new hires, the technologist must obtain a fluoroscopy permit within 6 months.
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
Rad Techs - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required
CT Computed Tomography - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required if performing CT.

$57.50 - $77.49HourlyNote: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
