Credit Shared Services Associate - Underwriting & Portfolio Management team

• Conducts credit alert reviews in order to evaluate loans after the borrower has tripped an alert or fi the underwriter/portfolio manager receives notification about a potential issue
• Reviews diverse credit indicators and defines a course of action
• Collects ongoing financial information from borrowers
• Performs ongoing review of loans
• Reporting
• Sets up accounts for new borrowers
• Conducts compliance checks
• Conducts due diligence searches (ie. Google, LexisNexis)
• Reviews credit reports
• Uploads documents to central filing system
• Reviews financial statements
• Confirms documentation is complete and current
• Clears any fraud alerts

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or equivalent field.

Work Experience:
Experience with loan documentation and/or credit

Skills and Abilities:
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with little supervision.
Ability to work well with others and on teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Comfortable in customer contact situations.

Ability to foster strong partnerships with the related documentation and underwriting units.
Knowledge of credit and risk analysis.

Working Conditions:

Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

This is a hybrid position - 3 days/week in office

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
