As a Cloud Automation Engineer, Â you will focus on automating the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure. This role is crucial for enhancing efficiency and ensuring scalability in cloud operations.
What You'll Do:
- Daily you will work with business partners, developers, and engineering teams to drive cloud strategy, adoption, and migration processes.
- You’ll develop automation scripts for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
- You’ll implement infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- You’ll create automated pipelines for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- You’ll optimize cloud resources through automation and scaling solutions.
- You’ll collaborate with the cloud operations and architecture teams to automate operational tasks.
- You will provide all the technical guidance, design specification and solution level support for cloud connectivity, integration, and collaboration.
- You’ll work with Automation Tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, and AWS cloud formation.
What You'll Need:
- To thrive in this role, you have 5+ years of experience in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- You have 4+ years of experience in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- You have experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
- You have experience with Containers and container management (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- You will need excellent presentation skills in order to communicate with management and stakeholders.
