What You’ll Do Â
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP. Â
Build scalability, fault-tolerance, security, and performance into our data platforms to meet our growing data & analytics needsÂ
Configure and optimize networking components, to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
Work with our data engineering teams, data science teams and analytical business users to review and ensure best practices are followed and high-quality code gets implemented Â
Partner with our Information Security, Application security, Data Center services and Cloud Infrastructure Services teams to ensure data is secure both at-rest and in-flightÂ
Ensure data platforms remain current to take advantage of the latest features and supportÂ
Communicate status of assigned work to management and follow agile practices, standard procedures & policiesÂ
Seek guidance when direction is needed and speak up about technology risks identified Â
You have worked previously with an Agile team or understand these concepts. You expect to participate in daily standup meetings, you’ll complete your projects or stories during our sprints, and you’ll be ready to meet frequent deployment deadlines.Â
What You’ll Need Â
Extensive hands-on expertise in troubleshooting logs and optimizing system performance.Â
Deep understanding of Cloud and data security in AWS or Google CloudÂ
Good experience with networking, Linux and Unix OS, and shell scripting.Â
Demonstrated aptitude for identifying the underlying issues in Cloud services such as Glue,  Lambda, Big Query and Cloud FunctionsÂ
Good experience with Cloud platforms AWS and/or Google Cloud in supporting Data pipelines, and integrationsÂ
Experience with Cloud Automations using Cloud Formation or TerraformÂ
Good understanding of network infrastructures and protocols such as TCP/IP, TLSÂ Â
Familiarity with data integration from different sources into Big Data systems is preferrable. Â
Familiarity with SQL and programming languages such as Python, Spark, YAML, Bash.Â
Cloud Certification in Dev Ops in AWS or Google Cloud a plusÂ
