Job Summary
Process insurance or membership related documents involving general problem resolution, communication or similar situations which require a thorough knowledge of work processes, policies, procedures, systems and the organization. Coordinate work activities with other departments, branch offices or external sources as required to complete assignments.
Job Duties
- Process work requiring review, correction, completion, coding, calculations, reconciliation, data entry or filing.
- Identify and correct errors in accuracy, completeness, or authorization.
- Initiate transactions which result in monetary, coverage, and entitlement changes.
- Enter and retrieve data on computer terminals and may utilize automated systems.
- Answer or make telephone, written, or in person inquiries, receiving or providing information and resolving routine problems.
- Coordinate regular work or problem solving activities with other areas as needed.
- Protect the confidentiality of information.
Qualifications
- High School GED
- 1-3 years Business transaction processing.
