As our Mainframe Developer, you will work as part of a team of dedicated problem-solvers to help code solutions both on legacy systems, including HUON and on newer technologies.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the current Mainframe platform/solution, as well as spearhead the modernization of the platform to an open system.
Design and solution migration of applications to the cloud.
Build cloud-native applications.
Lead migration efforts from on-prem to cloud; experience with Mainframe to Cloud migration is a plus.
Support and maintain HUON-based insurance solutions, including enhancement, configuration, and troubleshooting of HUON applications.
Develop, maintain, and optimize HUON business processes and batch jobs on Mainframe.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HUON with external applications and APIs.
What You’ll Need:
Experience with Mainframe – DB2, CICS, Cobol.
HUON system experience (or equivalent insurance systems expertise).
MuleSoft API experience or an understanding of how Mainframe interfaces with .NET.
Familiarity with AWS service offerings.
Experience with serverless architecture.
Tool proficiency in Xpediter Mainframe Debugging tool, Db2 Database debugging tool, and Topaz.
Knowledge of JCL, ISPW, and Control-M Scheduler.
Experience with Scrum pod teams and managing agile projects.
