We are looking for a Financial Reporting Supervisor within our Accounting Department. This position supervises External Financial Reporting team and Fixed Asset team. You will be responsible for the preparation and review of key financial statements and reports.
You will also perform supervisory functions, provide training and guidance, accounting, and analytical expertise, as well as accounting technical expertise to support the Vice President and Controller operating unit.
What You’ll Do:
You will prepare and review Financial Statements and reports, including supporting schedules.
Provide technical expertise and accounting analysis on the processing of existing and new programs/processes. Make recommendations for new processes, both accounting and technical, to assure compliance.
Communicate and support team, internal customers, outside vendors and management regarding issues, policies, practices and/or programs. Create reports as needed to manage issues and audits.
Review operations and reports for accounting accuracy and compliance with Club policy, Federal, State and/or local laws.
Review monthly close process for fixed asset.
Supervise employees, including the hiring process, terminations, salary changes, performance appraisals, performance areas, goals, coaching, training, scheduling of work and other associated tasks.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
What You’ll Need:
4-yr College Degree in Accounting or related field required.
4+ years public accounting experience required with progressive and relevant accounting experience, with Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Active CPA license is preferred.
Relevant experience in preparing and reviewing technical accounting memos.
Previous experience preparing annual financial statements in a large multi-entity company strongly preferred.
Previous experience in providing accounting support to external auditors strongly preferred.
Professional communication skills required, both written and oral.
The starting pay range for this position is:
$97,200.00 - $129,300.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
