Marketing Manager

Lead the enhancement of AAA’s direct mail and print program across Membership and Insurance, focusing on improving response through data-driven marketing strategies. Develop plans that leverage testing, analysis, and ongoing optimization to meet acquisition, upsell and cross-sell goals. Oversee the marketing strategy for designated product lines across multiple markets, using data insights to maximize performance.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize reporting and data analytics to make informed, real-time decisions that improve campaign outcomes.

  • Implement direct mail, print, and other marketing channels with a focus on performance measurement, adjusting strategies based on testing and audience response to continuously improve results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage multi-channel marketing efforts, ensuring seamless integration across media channels.

  • Manage agency relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee multi-million-dollar budgets while focusing on acquisition efficiency.

  • Lead a marketing team to develop, execute, and refine strategies, tracking trends, identifying growth opportunities, and adapting campaigns as needed.

  • Provide senior leadership with clear reports, insights, and recommendations to enhance program effectiveness.

  • Ownership of creating and managing multi-million dollar advertising budgets, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver maximum impact.

  • Use data-driven forecasting to project monthly expenses, leads, and sales, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize spend and results.

  • Continuously seek innovative approaches to budget allocation, ensuring resources are used efficiently to drive the best outcomes across all marketing initiatives.

This is a hybrid role that offers flexibility, with in-office collaboration Monday through Wednesday and the option to work remotely Thursday and Friday.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in developing and managing integrated marketing plans, with a strong background in budget development, forecasting, and overseeing the execution of complex, multi-channel marketing programs.

  • Proven experience utilizing marketing databases and research tools to effectively segment and target audiences, analyze campaign performance, and derive actionable insights for continuous program optimization.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and fostering vendor and agency relationships, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and driving high-quality results across campaigns.

  • Strong contract negotiation and management experience, with the ability to navigate vendor agreements and ensure optimal value and performance from external partners.

  • Experience working across diverse industries or markets, adapting strategies to meet unique business needs and challenges.

  • Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and software to track, measure, and report on marketing campaign performance and ROI.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and creative teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and develop staff to achieve marketing objectives and personal growth.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$117,600.00 - $156,400.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
