Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Services Team that will evaluate, design and document networking solutions for public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructure for AAA.

What You'll Do:

• Daily you will work with business partners, developers, and engineering teams to drive cloud strategy, adoption, and migration processes.
• You will provide all the technical guidance, design specification and solution level support for cloud connectivity, integration, and collaboration.
• You’ll work with Automation Tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, and AWS cloud formation.
• You’ll deliver deployment design and as-built documentation based on business requirements and best practices.
• You’ll educate/train users on benefits of cloud and ways/methods in which to get there.
• You will collaborate with other technical teams within AAA to deliver product(s) and solution(s).

What You'll Need:

• To thrive in this role, you will need experience with networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Shared VPCs, VPN Solutions).
• You have knowledge of Cloud Methodology and Security best practices: Public (e.g., AWS GCP, Azure) and Private (Kubernetes) Cloud Technologies is desirable
• You understand AWS and/or GCP architectural principles and key services such as AWS Global infrastructure, VPC, S3, EC2, Route 53, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect.
• You have experience working with Linux/Windows Enterprise Server Operating Systems.
• You have experience with Containers and container management.
• You have working knowledge understanding of client/server, networking (route/switch) and Internet technologies.
• You have experience reviewing and analyzing audit logs and able to mitigate as needed
