HR Leave of Absence Supervisor

Lead a team providing Human Resources support for employee leaves of absence within the Employee Benefits department.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on the development, implementation, and administration of leave of absence-related policies and programs.

  • Ensure the team serves as a focal point for information and assistance regarding leaves of absence, disability plans and accommodations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee personal and health information.

  • Ensure compliance with company policy, federal and state laws, including FMLA, CFRA and ADA and IRS and ERISA regulations.

  • Direct the team to appropriately interface with employees, managers, vendors, and attorneys in response to questions and issues related to leave and benefit policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.

  • Three to five years of experience or more in human resources and benefits.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Previous supervisor experience.

  • Problem solving skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

The starting pay range for this position is:

$97,200.00 - $129,300.00
