As our Associate DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the elements of software engineering/programming and protocols under the direction of a mentor. You’re a great collaborator, curious, and a fast learner with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. You will help design and implement user/customer-facing applications with the ability to prototype quickly. This role enhances the technical agility of a variety of product lines supported by our Billing Product team.
What You’ll Do
Develop advanced software applications and learn design skills. Build on at least one platform which includes but not limited to Object Oriented languages (e.g., C# or Java), Procedural languages (e.g., Cobol), Declarative Languages (e.g., SQL), or Scripting languages (e.g., Python or JavaScript). Communicate regularly and write clean code. Review, analyze and resolve application issues as needed.
Become a multi-skilled team member able to contribute to a variety of tasks including requirements analysis, coding using Test Driven Development techniques and paired programing, and regression testing. Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new functionalities on the different platforms. Consult with other team members and implements solutions in line with the departments' visions.
Continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies and methodologies to increase business and member value. Take direction from mentors to increase skills and competence, thereby improving the department’s contribution to the Business and the Members.
Actively participate and provide feedback in all Agile ceremonies (i.e., daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives) and peer reviews.
Be someone your end user and team members can rely on for information as they ask questions.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need

The starting pay range for this position is:
$82,100.00 - $109,500.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
