We are looking for a motivated Mainframe Systems Engineer with experience working on mainframe systems, particularly with DB2 and z/OS. Familiarity with tools like CICS and JCL is a plus. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in a hybrid work environment.
What You'll Do:
Mainframe Operations: Maintain and monitor mainframe systems to ensure smooth daily operations.
Database Management: Support DB2 database performance, backups, and security.
System Administration: Assist with z/OS installation, updates, and configuration.
Application Support: Develop or update CICS applications and manage JCL scripts.
Security Management: Apply security protocols using Top Secret.
System Monitoring: Use BMC tools for system health and performance management.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Some exposure to mainframe systems and familiarity with DB2, z/OS, and JCL.
Basic understanding of DB2 and z/OS operations.
Familiarity with CICS and JCL is a plus.
Experience with security tools like Top Secret and BMC tools is beneficial.
Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM DB2, z/OS, or CICS) are a bonus but not required.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$82,100.00 - $109,500.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
