Advertising Associate - Hybrid

The Advertising Sales Associate will assist the Associate Marketing Manager with all aspects of advertising sales operations that span across media sales support, sales strategy & planning, advertising campaign management and analytics and reporting. Responsibilities include trafficking advertisement materials, managing the advertising inventory (digital and print), executing on digital marketing campaigns, and conducting sales analytics. Support sales reps in servicing key client accounts and contribute to the Media & Content Sales team's overall revenue growth.

What You'll Do

  • Review and coordinate advertising materials with advertisers to ensure timely submission.
  • Create, distribute, and manage ad proofs, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Provide ad-hoc advertising design support for both print and digital formats.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of advertiser Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Maintain and update the MRI Simmons Doublebase database by creating prototypes, providing zips to MRI, and sharing prototypes with Market Research.
  • Review current advertising orders and confirm inventory
  • Maintain external advertising inventory calendars.
  • Create and manage a repository of finalized ad creatives.
  • Assist with audience segmentation for all paid email creatives.
  • Traffic ad materials and perform quality assurance checks on advertisements.
  • Assist with the review and approval process for monthly digital ad campaigns.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports for Discounts & Rewards paid partner review decks.
  • Generate ad-hoc reporting to meet advertiser, sales representative, and partner needs.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide strategic recommendations for implementing best practices.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or significant experience in developing and managing integrated marketing plans, including budget creation and forecasting.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the confidence to manage priorities and budgets.
  • Proficiency in advertising tools and databases, such as MRI Simmons Doublebase.
  • Attention to detail and expertise in quality assurance for both print and digital ads.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$84,100.00 - $111,900.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
