DevOps Engineer Intern

Join AAA’s Roadways College Internship Program! 

AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the DevOps Team for a 10-week internship.  Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in the program contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with the DevOps Team. 

About the Roadways College Internship Program: 

Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including: 

• Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives 

• Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image 

• Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change 

• Cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust 

What You’ll Do:

• Automate and Optimize: Drive efficiency and scalability through process automation and optimization.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.

• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, methodologies, and industry trends.

What You’ll Need : 

• Passion for Technology: A genuine enthusiasm for technology, automation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Technical Skills: Experience with programming languages Java or Python

• AI Chatbots & Agents:  Experience or familiarity with GenAI Agent technologies, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning a plus

• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure), etc. a plus

• Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes.

• Communication Skills: Effective in conveying technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

• Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing industry trends.

• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team setting, contribute to group projects, and engage in collaborative problem-solving.

• Must be a rising or graduating Senior enrolled in a college/university with emphasis in Computer Science or similar 

• A self-starter with the ability to communicate and work effectively in teams and cross-functionally 

Internship Eligibility: 

• Must commit to the entirety of the program; June 9th through August 15th 

• Must commit to working full time, 40 hours per week 

• Must be willing to commute to the office daily

Pay for this position is $27 per hour
