Claims Service Representative III - Homeowners Property Coordinator

In this role you will provide service pursuant to the policy by handling homeowner claims in compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. Primary functions include investigation, evaluation and negotiation of low to moderate complexity claims in compliance with established company technical and customer service best Practices. Under general technical direction, works within specific limits of authority with communication and interaction with a variety of individuals, including insureds and claimants. Explain benefits, coverages, fault and claims process either verbally or in writing. Conduct phone investigations to determine liability and damages and possibly participate in legal proceedings. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

  • Adjust low to moderate complexity claims, as normally acquired through 3-5 years’ experience

  • Provide legendary customer service to our insured members

  • Interpret policy, identify coverage, exposure analysis, and related claims processing procedure/systems

  • Assess property claims and negotiate settlement

  • Knowledge of terminologies for insurance regulations/coverage

  • Bachelor's (4 year) degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Strong organizational, time management and typing skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to work independently and adjust to change

The starting pay range for this position is:

$36.70 - $48.93

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
