Core Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment:
- Team up with physicians to assess and continually evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans related to speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
- Collaborate with patients and families to establish realistic care plans.
Treatment Planning and Care Provision:
- Implement customized treatment plans and choose engaging activities to help patients reach their goals.
- Revise goals with input from patients and families, ensuring ongoing education and support.
- Provide discharge instructions and connect patients with community resources as needed.
Documentation:
- Maintain clear documentation of evaluations and treatment plans according to departmental guidelines.
- Record each session accurately and complete all required paperwork promptly.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Speech Language Pathologist license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.
