Additional Information
Our Diesel Mechanics generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment.

Expectations of our Diesel Technicians include hard technical experience with the following:
- Brakes
- Suspensions
- Transmissions
- Clutches
- Reefer Repairs
- Strong computer diagnosis
- Hydraulics/PTO's
- Ability to diagnose and repair heavy truck issues
- Welding/fabrication skills
Qualifications for our Diesel Technician positions:
- 1-3 years Experience in Detroit DD15/60 Series Late Model Freightliners or diesel tech graduate
- Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
- Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
- A valid CDL is preferred
- Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
