Job Summary

NetApp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Client Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by hunting and securing strategic opportunities with Hyperscalers, particularly Google and Amazon. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully selling data storage and data management solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud, and possess established relationships and contacts within Hyperscalers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and target new business opportunities, and design wins with Hyperscalers, leveraging your industry expertise and established network.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate and capture key accounts, utilizing a hunter approach to drive net new business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and aligning our solutions to their requirements.
  • Drive the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and successful customer journey.
  • Exceed sales targets and consistently overachieve goals, demonstrating a strong commitment to driving revenue growth.

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in selling to Hyperscalers, with a focus on Google and Amazon, and a deep understanding of the data storage and data management landscape.
  • Extensive experience in a hunter-type sales role, with the ability to thrive in a competitive environment and effectively navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the capability to identify and capitalize on new market trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and resilient, with a relentless drive to succeed and a passion for driving net new business growth.

Education

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 294,865 - 381,590 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. We will provide detailed information about the specific benefits for your region during the recruitment process.
