The Slab Sales Lead is responsible for maximizing profitablesales volume by growing existing business, developing new relationships, andproviding a top-notch customer experience. This individual will work with salesassociates at all Ann Sacks locations to facilitate and support the sale ofSlabs nationwide. It is critical that the Slab Sales Lead consistentlydelivers a gracious client experience and fosters strong communityrelationships in the market. Success in the position will be measured by theachievement of both individual and location sales plans. Professional growthopportunities include potential candidacy for management positions. Â
Specific Responsibilities
Sales Goals and Productivity:
- Lead by example, developing client relationships, delivering superior service and sales results.Â
- Manage individual and gallery performance results in partnership with showroom manager.Â
- Review and assess total gallery pipeline and collaborate with team to develop strategies and approaches to convert while maintaining margin and profit goals. Â
- Outreach & Prospecting to expand client reach to include fabricators, kitchen & bath businesses, and contractors.Â
- Partner with local Ann Sacks Showrooms to provide training on how to engage existing clients in Slab materials.Â
Deliver a client experience worthy of the Ann Sacksbrand:Â
- Provide gracious experience, including providing client samples and timely follow up communications.Â
Showroom Operations Responsibilities in partnership withWarehouse and Administrative support teams:Â
- Process quotes and communicate with clients on inventory, pick up requirements and payments.Â
- Timely and effective resolve customer issuesÂ
- Partner with Warehouse Lead to manage Team’s time and attendance, including coordination of schedules, guaranteeing the business needs are met.Â
- Maintain office supplies including hospitality items, wrap/pack materials, and marketing collateral.Â
Skills/Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant salesexperience required with progressively more responsibility and a track recordof results is required along with consistent level of performance as a salesprofessional meeting or exceeding objectives. Slab experience stronglypreferred. Strong preference given toprior experience in interior or architectural design or luxury retailsales.Â
Education: Coursework, certificate or degree in interior design,business management, or marketing is preferred but not required. Candidateswith a variety of educational backgrounds and experiences are encouraged toapply. Â
Software: Experience with Windows operating systems and intermediateskills with MS Office suite are required. Experience with Salesforce or a CRMprogram is highly preferred. Â
