Description:

Monitors activities to minimize the company's exposure to risk. Activities may include quantitative analysis, risk identification and remediation. Represents or supports the representation of the company to minimize compliance and regulatory risk by resolving issues and ensuring adherence to company and legal standards. Responsible for ensuring that all of the company's activities adhere to the necessary rules and regulations, and that the company complies with legal/regulatory statutes and jurisdictions.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Responsible for administering, maintaining, coordinating and monitoring the institution’s day-to-day compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC/FinCEN/USA Patriot Act, and related laws, regulations, policies, programs, initiatives, rules and reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for managing, administering, and enhancing all aspects of the BSA/AML/OFAC monitoring systems, including making sure that appropriate parameters are in place to identify suspicious activity. Monitoring systems include both system reporting and automated account monitoring software.
  • Ensure that all required regulatory reporting is conducted in a timely, accurate, complete and compliant manner, including but not limited to the timely and properly completed submissions of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) to FinCEN as well as FinCEN 314(a) and 314(b) procedures and reporting.
  • Responsible for responding to exam and audit findings and overseeing the corrective action of any related compliance deficiencies or violations.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures as needed.
  • Conduct BSA/AML/OFAC risk assessments annually or as needed with consideration to products, services, customers, and geographies that may present BSA/AML/OFAC related risk; and collect and report annually.
  • Prepares monthly (or more frequent) reports for committees to apprise senior management of the state of the program and any BSA/AML/OFAC risks.
  • Reports periodically to the Board of Directors on the status of BSA/AML/OFAC program and any BSA/AML/OFAC risks.
  • Responsible for managing the KYC/EDD program for One Compliance.
  • Supervise the duties and development/coaching of the BSA Analysts.
  • Performs various other duties as assigned.
  • Reports and escalates all material deficiencies.
  • Produce regular activity reports. Advise the CCO, CEO and senior management of any changes in business, regulation or market that may affect the business of the Firm.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Finance, Business or equivalent field. Req

  • CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) Certification or equivalent; preferred

Work Experience:

  • 12+ Years Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, or Financial Services. Req
