Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area.Job Duties:Places and removes dental rubber dams.Places and removes dental matrices and wedges.Applies cavity liners and bases.Places, condenses, carves and contours amalgam restorations.Places and finishes composite resin restorations.Places and finishes sealant material.Fabricates and cements temporary crowns; selects, contours and cements crown forms.Performs coronal polishing and applies fluoride and varnishes.Selects and cements orthodontic bands and brackets.Places temporary restorations.Assists during emergency situations.Takes impressions of teeth for study models, diagnostic casts, or athletic appliances.Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
