The Financial Development Program (FDP) provides aspiring finance and accounting students with a range of unique experiences in corporate accounting and finance. Over the course of this three-year rotational program, accounting and finance professionals develop their careers through a series of three rotations strategically designed to provide a well-rounded view of Baxter’s business and finance competencies. In addition, the program provides structured training, as well as guided mentoring from strategically appointed teammates. Analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results and business drivers; preparation of critical financial reporting. Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Enablement of internal decision-making and investment prioritization via financial models and analytics. Responsible for reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, preparation of month-end close journal entries, and review of account trending. Contribution to ad hoc projects and specialized team functions.
