This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Supply Continuity and Strategy, Advanced Surgery (AS) Division and is an integral member of the AS Division’s global team responsible for ensuring that the AS global supply network is positioned to be a source of competitive advantage, capable of delivering long-term performance needed by its businesses. Support long range capacity planning to identify bottlenecks and develop mitigating strategies. Participate in annual planning activities for the function. Assist the global division and regional manufacturing networks in their business assessments and development/review of their long-term strategies. In partnership with Baxter’s internal teams: support AS plants through finished goods supply constraints, participate in supplier development and supply continuity initiatives, ensure effective distribution of products to ensure the right product is delivered to the right place at the right time. Support the review of AS manufacturing and supply investments. Support strategies to optimize the global manufacturing network, improving cost and quality. Participate in-source / out-source assessments and define manufacturing plan for new product launches as well as the expansion or renewal of capacity for existing products.
