- Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
- Leads or participates in design of acquisition of capital equipment. Generates Capital Appropriation Requests.
- Monitors equipment status and procures maintenance services, as needed, to keep equipment functioning adequately.
- Maintains quality, reduces lead times, and controls inventory levels.
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports performance. Develops and implements process improvement projects. Standardizes work operations.
- Interfaces with customers, maintaining relationships.
- Interfaces with engineering and quality leaders to resolve process and product problems and non-conformance. Formulates and implements cause and corrective actions.
- Prepares written and oral reports, participates in production, staff, and engineering meetings, performs plant safety inspections, and assists Supervisors in performing their duties.
- Promotes EHS initiatives; performs assigned SPA duties. Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.

- This position requires a minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience; 4 of which includes supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Skills and Abilities
- Must possess effective skills in communication, basic computer operation, analytical analysis, problem solving, interpersonal, leadership, equipment/process knowledge, and team dynamics. Must also have a working understanding of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Must possess experience in wax/plastic injection
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
