Harvard Park Surgery Center, is seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse to join our team.  Harvard Park Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.  

Hourly:

$40 - $50 hourly

Sign On Bonus: $7,500

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Ophthalmology. 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Currently licensed in the state. CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
  • One year experience required intra-operative setting.
  • Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
  • Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Required Skills:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • RN License
  • BLS required. 

 

 


Required Experience:

 

  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
  • Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
