Mason City, Iowa Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians to our locum tenens roster for a 35k Annual Volume ED in Mason City, IA as soon as possible.

We are seeking actively Iowa licensed Physicians or those with an IMLC Letter of Qualification available to join our well-established team of Board Certified professionals for long-term locum tenens scheduling throughout 2023. Our top-rated facility is staffed by the best multidisciplinary team in the Hawkeye State with an incredible support staff to best serve our patients. To keep our program performing at peak efficiency, we are seeking the best Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our mission!  

We have seasoned in-house credentialing experts available to ensure we are able to capitalize on a quick credentialing process. • Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens
• Start Date: November 9-12 – Ongoing (Long-Term Opportunity)
• Schedule: 7-10 Shifts per Month (Swing & Night Shifts)
• 35k Annual Volume
• 19 Private Exam Rooms
• 2 Trauma Rooms
• 17 Patient Care Rooms
• Shift Schedules:
  • (7:00am – 7:00pm)
  • (8:00am – 5:00pm)
  • (5:00pm – 2:00am)
  • (7:00pm – 7:00am)
• APP Coverage: (11:00am – 5:00pm)
• Scribe Coverage: 10-hours per day
• EMR: Cerner

Nurses’ stations are positioned directly outside the patient rooms, which allows our medical staff to continuously monitor the care and needs of you. This design allows our highly qualified medical personnel to better monitor you while you receive private, efficient care in a calm, quiet and respectful atmosphere. 

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified American Board of Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine (MD/DO)
• Current Iowa State License (or IMLC Letter of Qualification)
• Recent/Ongoing ER Experience
• Availability for 6+ Shifts per Month
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
