Job Description:
Jefferson Wells is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of projects in the governmental sector. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. While experience in the government sector is a plus, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be proficient in MS Office, and experience with Yardi software is a bonus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple projects of varying complexity, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.
- Create and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), review submitted proposals, and provide recommendations.
- Draft legal documents, financial Pro Formas, and project-related budgets.
- Organize meetings, including scheduling, reserving space, preparing materials, and ordering food.
- Develop meeting notes and provide status updates to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all project activities.
- Create and submit purchase requisitions as needed.
- Keep senior management informed on project progress and any potential risks or delays.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle a wide range of tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Yardi software (preferred but not mandatory).
- Government sector experience (nice to have, but not required).
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating honesty and integrity in all tasks.
Additional Information:
This is a contract role based in Detroit, MI. The candidate will work closely with the COO and senior management to ensure successful project execution. Â
Hourly rate: $65-75/hr. W2 depending on experience
