Requirements Henry Ford Hospital is looking for an NP/PA to help with their urgent Neuroendovascular need! *Bid Date- First to Fill*Job of 8/30Coverage needed while they recruit for permInpatient hospital-based setting with responsibilities for rounding consults and postoperative careNo OR/First Assist or procedural work requiredMust have a basic understanding of acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies ICU care neurosurgical elective procedures and postoperative managementCoverage includes 240 hours in a 6-week schedule with weekend shiftsHours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in-house coverage requiredweekend covereage required every 4th weekNo on-call dutiesExpected to see an average of 10 patients per dayEMR system used: eCare/CernerLevel 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke designationAdvanced Practice Provider APP will work autonomouslySupervising physician available off-site on-call 24/7No new graduates will be acceptedProcedures required: simple suture for minor laceration repairPatient demographics range from ages 0 to 99Temps are requestedLocum to Perm Reduction in Conversion Fees:NP/ hours = 2500 reduction320-639 hours = 3500 reduction640hours = 4500 reductionRegardless of number of hours a NP/PA has worked reduction will not exceed 4500Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: emergency privileges' have been approvedHenry Ford does not reimburse for background checks or credentialing fees
