This position will work closely with the VP of Pharmacy STARs in executing Quality strategic planning, support the development and advancement of the annual business plan, create, and execute executive and board materials as well as maintain standard department documents. This role will also support and advance the coordination of communications in support of the business and team needs. This individual must be highly organized, possess solid leadership skills, with demonstrated professional maturity and emotional resilience. Day to day work varies based on time of year, with an overarching goal to improve quality performance.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute annual business planning process, ensure critical documents are up to date and oversight of activities that align with the strategic planning cycle
- Create and deliver qualitative and quantitative monthly reporting for the Medicare Pharmacy Stars business unit
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual enterprise-level presentations and reporting on Quality programs for use internally
- Own the development of executive and operations reporting, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive content
- Administer annual onsite event planning, design, content creation, logistics and overall execution
- Manage strategic projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing, and analyzing
Tactical Responsibilities:
- Department Updates and Planning
- Annual Planning: Coordinate and prepare annual departmental planning materials and follow-up items
- Quarterly Business Review: Coordinate and develop QBR departmental materials
- Pharmacy Performance Tracking: Prepare and distribute weekly performance reporting.
- Employee Survey: Develop annual performance tracking and action items
- Department MBO: Establish and monitor department MBO performance
- Department Budget: Oversee and monitor department budget and Finance liaison
Data Analytic Requests and Administration
- Weekly Data Analytics Updates: Facilitate weekly data analytics meetings
- Ad-hoc Reporting: Work with Measure Owners to develop data analytics requests and intake submission (M&R Performance Report, SSRS, KMOR, etc)
- Program Effectiveness: Work with STARs Analytics on program evaluation annually
Measure Owner Performance Support
- Vendor Support: Establish and track Vendor Onboarding requirements
- New Measure Coordination: Support measure owner(s) with identifying and tracking key requirements
- Strategy Development: Assist Measure Owners and supporting STARs stakeholders with strategy development and updates
- Departmental Performance Archive: Maintain Pharmacy STARs historical performance monitoring

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience preparing executive level presentations
- 2+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a similar role
- Experience forecasting, overseeing and monitoring department budget and as Finance Liaison
- Experience monitoring department MBO performance and communicating across organization
- Experience with demonstrated critical thinking and navigating ambiguity to deliver quality results
- Self-Starter with the ability to develop and manage multiple projects with changing priorities and minimal direction
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across a large matrix organization
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work schedule and tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, strategy, management consulting, general management and/or reporting
- Knowledge of Medicare Pharmacy Stars
- Relevant work experience in strategy, management consulting, product, or general management in a health care related field
- Solid history of quickly gaining credibility, partnering with business leaders, and exhibiting executive presence
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and intermediate proficiency in Excel (or other data visualization tools)
- Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
