In this role you will recruit for open positions throughout the company, predominantly focusing on non-professional positions, with a strong focus on caregiving and dining staff. The recruiting specialist partners with management and field HR to discuss long-range staffing needs. You would also develop partnerships and pipelines with appropriate colleges and schools; assist with job fairs and sourcing efforts, prescreen candidates and coordinate the hiring process.
This position would include visiting schools, hiring fairs etc so candidates must be located in Southern California.Ā
- Responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing and referring qualified candidates to respective hiring departments
- Identify and recruit qualified staff
- Proactively contact and recruit prospective candidates to establish relationships, understand their needs and qualify them for job opportunities
- Educate prospective candidates on the personal and professional benefits of our company
- Client-centered mentality and passion for customer service
- Consult with hiring managers to understand their needs, the culture of their teams, coach them on effective hiring practices, and to help them find the best talent available.
- Consult with hiring managers to develop winning offers, and present those to candidates to āclose the deal.ā
- Help the rest of the HR and management team ensure that we are prepared for the new hires' arrival and assist with their smooth transition into the company.
Qualifications
- Associates degree and one year of experience or High School Diploma and two years of relevant HR or recruiting experience. Ā
- Experience working in a health care and/or not-for-profit setting preferred.
- Experience screening and interviewing non-exempt work workforce.
- Ability to work under pressure and successfully meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ATS, internal applications, and generally tech-savvy
- Must be self-directed and have the ability to effectively manage shifting and multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth environment.

Compensation: Ā $25-28hr depending on experience + performance-based bonus
