The Tactical Space Systems Division is seeking an Associate/Industrial Engineer to work in our Manufacturing department located in Sterling, Virginia facility. Responsibilities: Serve as the on-site industrial engineer for a manufacturing work center. Maintain oversight, rapport, and direct awareness with all production team member and their activities. Conduct time studies, develop standard operating procedures, and create staffing models. Estimate lead times to support program proposals and MRP. Collect and analyze data to identify trends and drive improvements. Monitor labor and capital resource utilization, developing plans for efficiency and capacity management. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows. Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material and equipment delivery. Participate in project meetings and execute special studies and projects.
