TRC's Client has a remote, direct hire opportunity for an IT Project Manager!
 
This opportunity is with a leading distribution company offering significant growth potential, great culture, benefits, etc.
 
The IT Project Manager will lead enterprise level projects related to Warehouse Management system design and Integration, ERP system Integration, etc. Projects are born of continuous improvement efforts and this person will be involved from conception to completion!

o    Master the end-to-end business process cycles (OTC, PTP, WM, TM, POD, etc.)
o    Become fluent with the entire IT landscape (core systems, secondary systems, interfaces, etc.)
o    Review business requirements and understand business rationale and the end goal
o    Compare multiple vendor solutions against the business requirements and prepare analysis
o    Present analysis to executive leadership and deliver recommendations for decision making
o    Build detailed budgets and manage project expenses within the approved limits
o    Develop project timelines, meet the defined milestones, and ensure on time deliveries
o    Identify resource requirements and manage the assets bandwidth
o    Deliver weekly status reporting for each project and report to project stakeholders
o    Mitigate risks and provide alternative solutions and/or workarounds when needed
o    Manage the communication and training requirements for project deployments
o    Build and oversee the execution of comprehensive cutover plans during Go Lives
o    Manage post Go Live Hypercare and expedite resolution during production outages
o    Assist the Business Analysts (BAs) in delivering change requests
o    Improve the change request process to increase the delivery capacity
o    Provide project management training, tools, and materials to BAs to assist with enterprise initiatives

 

Requirements:

o    Experience with various distribution systems and platforms (Web, ERP, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Final Mile Delivery, etc.)
o    Fluent in distribution practices and processes, both upstream (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, etc.)  and downstream (Receiving, Selection, Inventory Control, etc.)
o    3 years of proven experience managing IT projects
o    Interpersonal skills that nurture the development of relationships, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration
o    Outstanding communication skills with ability to articulate the explanation of complex systems and processes
o    Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a desire for accuracy and data integrity
o    Excellent time management with capability of multi-tasking competing priorities at times
o    Dynamic and agile with ability to quickly shift focus and attention based on the severity of the situation at hand
o    Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations Management, etc.)
o    MBA preferred
o    PMP Certification Preferred
