Material Preparation Operator

Location: Onsite - Brownwood, TX 

 

Competitive Compensation: Starting at $19.67 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.

Shift Needed: 5:00 am - 5:30 pm, 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

We are looking for a Material Preparation Operator in our Plastics Department. This position will be based at our Brownwood, TX location, where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality kitchen and bathroom products, including our luxury bathtubs and toilets. 

 

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 

  • Mix various raw materials from resin mixes according to specific guidelines and standard operating instructions. 

  • Selects, cuts, and organizes acrylic sheet stock utilizing daily production schedule and according to specific guidelines and standard operating instructions. 

  • Operates PIV according to specific guidelines. 

  • Distributes raw materials, supplies, or component parts to appropriate production areas. Assemble kits for production floor. 

  • Maintains work area in a safe, clean and organized condition. 

  • Maintains accurate accountability of raw materials and production supplies. 

  • Operates powered hand tools and specialized manufacturing equipment safely and according to standard operating instructions. 

  • Performs all duties as assigned by supervision.

Key Qualifications 

  • Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship. 

  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes. 

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Must be able to read, interpret and apply specific work instructions to a high degree of accuracy and completeness.  

  • Must possess good attention to detail and judgment when making operational decisions. 

  • Effective at time management and prioritizing work requirements.  

  • Coordinates individual activities with production needs according to a predetermined schedule and event timing. 

  • Must be able to safely operate PIV.  Must obtain driver’s license through driver training as required. 

  • Must be able to work independently.
