KOS Production Support Technician 

Location: Onsite - Brownwood, TX

  

Competitive Compensation: Starting at $30.63 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.  

Shift Needed: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm on a 1st shift Monday - Friday schedule.

We are looking to fill a KOS Production Support Technician position within our Plastic's Division. This position will be based at our Brownwood, TX location, where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality bathroom products, including luxury bathtubs and toilets. 

  

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 

  • Continually study Kaizen principles through publications and work with consultants. 

  • Develop training materials and conduct training for all Kaizen team participants. 

  • Facilitate all Kaizen teams in the Brownwood Facilities through active leadership and participation. 

  • Participate in Kaizen events outside the Brownwood Facilities to improve vision and strengthen understanding. 

  • Participate in the development of plant goals and the individual team goals necessary to meet these plant goals. 

  • Recommend areas of opportunities for applying the Lean Manufacturing principles and initiate action through the area supervision. 

  • Coordinate project implementation through area supervision to ensure understanding of project goals and recommended actions. 

  • Ensure implemented changes support plant objectives in employee safety, ergonomics, throughput, company quality and grading results. 

  • Maintain adequate records of project status and report routinely on accomplishments and performance to objectives.

Key Qualifications 

  • Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship. 

  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes. 

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Must have the ability to lead, direct and train personnel. Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in manufacturing. 

  • High School Diploma is required, 2 - years post-secondary education is preferred. 

  • Requires flexibility and adaptability to various situations for incumbent to be able to grow into various leadership positions. 

  • Requires ability to critically think and make sound decisions based on date and analytics.
